I didn't see any NewDems at the forum though the assembled resembled them. There were about five guys who looked like Tontar- but weren't, and two guys who looked like Cameron- but weren't. and so on. A smattering of Khazei yoots in white tees and big hair.
Liberal crowd generally judging by the applause.
The interviewers started with a "why do you think you'd make a good senator" softball.
The second question was a zinger. To Pagliuca " Why haven't you voted in a presidential election in 13 years?" To Coakley, some death penalty, preventing DNA evidence and questions related to her prosecutor career. To Capuano "Why did you vote in such a way on bills allowing bundled securities etc.
My womanfriend liked Capuano who did a good job at being engaging and a man of the people. He played the working class hero well. He admitted making some mistakes on votes in the past, but stuck with a theme of "homes should be available to "allow working class people to make it to the middle class"
Some people left after Pagliuca, spoke, more after both Coakley and Capuano. More young 'uns showed up when Khazei wrapped.
