Area Democrats rally Sunday Newburyport Daily News NEWBURYPORT — The Democratic Committees of Newburyport, Amesbury, Newbury, Salisbury and West Newbury will hold an old-fashioned political rally Sunday at 6 p.m. under the tent at The Tannery Marketplace, 50 Water St. Featured speakers will include U.S. Rep. John Tierney, state Rep. Mike Costello, D-Newburyport; Massachusetts Democratic Committee Chairman John Walsh and the following candidates for office — state Senate candidate Kathleen O’Connor-Ives, state representative candidate Barry Fogel and Governor’s Council candidate Eileen Duff. All are welcome to attend.
