DEMOCRATS TO HOLD CAUCUS IN NEWBURYPORT

Registered Democrats in Newburyport will be holding a caucus on Saturday, March 2 at 10AM in the Bannister Room, Belleville Congregational Church, 300 High Street, Newburyport to elect delegates and alternates to the 2013 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. Delegates will be divided equally between men and women.

This year’s Convention will be held in Lowell on Saturday, July 13th.  

The caucus is open to all registered Democrats in Newburyport who were registered as of 12/31/12.  All ballots will be written and secret. Those not elected as Delegate and/or Alternate, who meet the qualifications, may apply to be add-on delegates in the following categories: youth, minority, and disabled.
